The Republic of Free Jaffa was the largest of the major Jaffa nations. Bra’tak served as Chancellor of the republic for two years, in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, he retired, and Teal’c was elected Chancellor. The Free Jaffa Republic was considered the most direct descendant of the original Free Jaffa Nation, and it was a Constitutional Democratic Republic.
